Life Story Writing – Beginning

Someone once said that everyone’s life is worth a book

Have you ever thought about writing your life story? This 4-week-long course can help you get organized.  We will discuss getting your thoughts down on paper, creating storylines, and organizing your stories.  Every week we prepare a story on a suggested topic, and then read it aloud at class, with discussion and suggestions.

Remember…IF YOU CAN TALK, YOU CAN WRITE!

So gather those old pictures and get started on your memoir. Let your grandchildren learn how you walked to school in the rain and snow, learned to ride your first bicycle or caught fireflies in a jar.

For reservations, please visit the Mizell Ticket Window or call 760-323-5689 ext.107

Life Story Writing XIX

In this 8-week-long series of classes, open to experienced writers, we will continue to develop and discuss our life stories. We do so for our children, for our grandchildren, for our friends and also for ourselves; and maybe in the process we will enrich our own lives, becoming more awake and aware of who we are, where we have been and where we are going.

Our leader will once again be Marge Zapala who will assist us in giving voice to our life experiences and     turning memories into memorable words.

This continuation class is open only to students that have completed Beginning Life Story Writing.

Fridays: dates to be announced
