Tai Chi and Qigong – Beginning Level

An event every week that begins at 2:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until April 30, 2020
Tai Chi Sifu Neal Arida leads both levels of Tai Chi and Qigong that teach the Yang Family Long Form 108 along with Qigong organ exercises. Beginning class starts with learning standing postures, breath control and breath control in movement. Class will also include Tai Chi walking and preparation for the organ exercises. There is no competition in these classes – all movement will be modified to suit your current abilities and/or limitations.
Take the challenge of learning and practicing these ancient Chinese Arts of self-defense and health restoration by combining breath control with rhythmic, slow moving choreographed body movements. Learn to enhance vitality, improve overall health and reverse aging through Qigong (Chi Kung). Among its many health benefits are lowering of blood pressure, improved circulation, better balance, flexibility, enhanced breathing, clearing the mind, and lifting of the spirit.
Fee per month each level: $35 for members / $65 for non-members
Drop-in fee each class: $10 for members / $15 for non-members
