The program will examine the critical role museums and archives, both queer and mainstream, play in preserving and celebrating the lives and experiences of LGBTQ+ people.

We’ve assembled an illustrious panel including Richard Burns, Board Chair of the American LGBTQ+ Museum and Executive Director, Johnson Family Foundation and David Gray, Co-Founder of LGBTQ+ History and Archives of the Desert, and Glenne McElhinney, Project Director, Impact Stories, and Tim Vincent, president and Co-Founder of Brothers of the Desert. Their conversation will examine how the recording of ordinary lives and experiences of LGBTQ+ people is critical to preserving them. Brad Fuhr, CEO/ e-publisher of KGAY Palm Springs & Gay Desert Guide will serve as moderator.
