In our continuing effort to ensure your health and safety every time you visit, we are transitioning to a 100% vaccination policy. That means everyone who comes into our building, be they members, non-members, staff, volunteers, instructors or resale shop customers…everyone must be vaccinated. The policy will go into effect beginning Monday, August 9th.
Starting Monday, August 9th, please be sure to bring a photo ID, your Mizell membership card and proof of vaccination with you to the Mizell Center. and present it at the check-in table at the front door:
If you have lost your vaccination card, please visit this website to get verification of your vaccination.
When you arrive at the Mizell Center, go to the check-in table at the front door and present your documents.
Members will have a green dot ● placed directly onto their membership card to indicate that proof of vaccination was presented.
Non-Members will be given a generic ID card with just their name. The all-important green dot ● will be placed directly onto the ID card to indicate that proof of vaccination was presented.
Visitors will be given a Visitor sticker to affix to their clothing to indicate that proof of vaccination was presented; the sticker is good for one visit.
Once a green dot ● has been placed on your membership card or non-member ID, you’re good to go! Just remember to have it with you every time you visit!
We love having everyone back in the building. We’re grateful to each and every one of you for respecting the policies we’ve put into place and deeply appreciate your cooperation going forward. We look forward to seeing you back here at Mizell, the first senior center in the Valley to be 100% vaccinated!!
P.S. Please visit here for information on vaccine sites and how to retrieve verification of your vaccination if you’ve misplaced your card.
