Our programs and services are curated for seniors on a broad socio-economic spectrum, enabling us to welcome more than 60,000 visitors annually. Members and guests bring vibrancy to more than 50 weekly activities designed to support independence, promote lifelong learning and sustain a healthy and engaged lifestyle.
In the community, the Mizell Center’s Nutrition Program is the largest in the Coachella Valley, Through our contract with the Riverside County Office on Aging, we were preparing and delivering nutritious meals every weekday to homebound seniors, as well as up to 8 congregate meal sites, such as other senior centers and senior living communities throughout the Valley. Meals are delivered by our staff drivers on routes that span the Valley, from Whitewater to the Salton Sea.
