Enjoy freshly prepared, nutritious meals in the company of friends at Mizell Center. Lunch is served each weekday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for $5 per person, or a $3 suggested contribution for Riverside County Senior Congregate Meal Program participants. If you are interested in joining the program, our volunteers can sign you up on the spot with a photo ID.
Stay current with our monthly menu, offering nutritious meals at Mizell Center, as well as local senior centers in Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, and Indio. Service times at each senior center vary. Come for the meal, stay for the camaraderie.
Mizell Center’s Meals on Wheels program delivers meals each weekday to homebound seniors across the Coachella Valley, ensuring they receive not only nourishment but also an essential human connection. Our trained drivers provide more than just meals: they check in with clients, offer referrals to additional services, and supply pet food when needed.
