Volunteer at Mizell Center: Make a Difference in a Senior’s Day

Your Time Can Change a Life

Help Seniors

Every day, volunteers at Mizell Center bring warmth, compassion, and joy to the seniors we serve. Whether you can give an hour or a few days a week, your time truly matters.

The Power of People Helping People

Our volunteers help make Mizell Center a welcoming and life-enhancing place. They deliver meals, lead art or fitness classes, help at the front desk, or simply spend time talking with seniors who may otherwise feel alone.

Ways You Can Volunteer

Here are just a few of the meaningful opportunities available:

  • Help with art, music, or fitness classes
  • Assist in the dining room during lunch
  • Sort donations at Aunt Betty’s Thrift Shop

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. We provide orientation and training to help you feel comfortable and prepared.

Why Volunteers Love It

Many of our volunteers say they get just as much out of the experience as they give. It’s a chance to:

  • Connect with others
  • Share talents and learn new skills
  • Be part of a caring, community-focused team

Plus, you’ll be making someone’s day — often in ways you’ll never fully realize.
