This residency allows A Cabbello to focus fully on artistic creativity and performance while benefiting from Mizell’s nonprofit expertise, fiscal stewardship, and administrative support. With this strong foundation, A Cabbello will continue presenting exceptional musical performances that enrich the entire Coachella Valley.

This passion for service inspired Project Connect — a series of free community concerts designed to ensure that the joy of music reaches those who need it most.
Project Connect brings live music and meaningful human connection to older adults who may face isolation or limited access to the arts. These concerts are energizing for performers and deeply moving for audiences. Music offered with kindness touches hearts and reminds us that we belong to one another.
