The mission of Mizell Center is to foster a vibrant quality of life and support the independence of Coachella Valley residents as they age.
Mizell is a non-denominational, community-based organization that has served the Coachella Valley senior community for over 50 years. Our programs are tailored for individuals across a broad socioeconomic spectrum, and we welcome over 60,000 visitors to our historic Palm Springs building annually. Our members and visitors bring life to over 60 weekly activities that support independence, lifelong learning, and a healthy, engaged lifestyle.
Mizell is the only Meals on Wheels provider in the Coachella Valley. We prepare, serve, and deliver approximately 700 nutritious meals each weekday to homebound seniors and social dining meal sites at five senior centers in the Valley. Our delivery routes span from Whitewater to the Salton Sea.
Each weekday, Mizell serves over 100 individuals for lunch in our dining room, providing a freshly prepared, nutritious meal in a social, community-based environment.
We invite all seniors in the greater Palm Springs area to join Mizell as a member and take advantage of member-only discounts for year-round classes and programs.
