“At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back”– Denzel Washington
Volunteers are the backbone of Mizell Center. Without volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to offer many of our essential programs and services. Our volunteers are dedicated, compassionate and resourceful. They work tirelessly to improve the lives of older adults.
Mizell volunteers reflect the diversity of our community having varied backgrounds, experiences, identities and skills. They help make the world more fair and equitable for older adults.
