We’re proud of our service to the community through our Valley-wide Meals on Wheels program. We’ve prepared more than 1.6 million meals in the last 10 years alone, all in our 70 year-old, 642 square foot kitchen. And now, over 600 meals are prepared every weekday. But we could be doing so much more…
A larger kitchen will enable us to serve more seniors in need than ever before. More healthy meals means more seniors who are well-nourished. It means more seniors will remain independent and be able to age in place. More healthy meals means more jobs for locals. More healthy meals will enable us to partner with other local non-profit organizations that serve our population, providing lunch for their clients.
A modern and efficient 1,776 square feet of kitchen space, prep space and storage space will enable us to do more for our community now and well into the future.
